How to get to The Sensor Show
Whether you arrive at Munich Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) or Munich International Airport, there are plenty of routes for you to get to The Sensor Show.
For instance, the suburban train (S-Bahn) station for the lines S1 and S8 runs from the airport with trains departing every 10 minutes to Munich Hauptbahnhof. From there you can take the U2 subway line to “Messestadt West”. Depending on the route you choose, the ride takes between 45 and 60 minutes.
From the A94 motorway, take the exit München-Riem (Exit Nr. 5).
Signage on the freeway will guide you to the appropriate parking areas nearest to the East Entrance.
E-charging stations are available at Messe München.

From the airport, it is a 35 minute one-way trip to the Conference Center Nord for a fixed rate of EUR 67. Please note that this fixed rate offer is only valid on the shortest distance in kilometers between the airport and the trade-fair grounds.
Taxis at the airport are available directly in front of the airport’s terminals.
From Munich Munich Hauptbahnhof (central station), you can get to the Conference Center Nord in about 25 minutes.

As it is the second largest airport in Germany, most countries are accessible via Munich International Airport which is located 42 km south of Messe München.
At Munich International Airport take one of the automatica airport shuttle coaches (which run every 20 minutes and take around 45 minutes each way).
There are three departure points at the airport: Terminal 2 (bus park), Terminal 1 (Module A) and the Central Concourse (MAC).
When leaving from the event, take a shuttle from the North Entrance to the airports’ Central Concourse (MAC).
One-way tickets cost EUR 9.00, and return tickets cost EUR 15.00.

To ensure you obtain your visa before the trade fair starts, we recommend that you submit your visa application as early as three months before the event start date (8th December 2020).

Official invitation letter from the trade fair organiser
In a directive transmitted per e-mail in July 2013, the German Foreign Office has informed the German Embassy and Consulate Visa Sections all over the world that in general, an official invitation letter from the trade fair organizer is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa. Moreover, visa fees are waived for exhibitors at German trade fairs.
